Fractal Audio Axe-Fx 3/FM9 – RAINBOW FREEZY preset
Want to use EHX Freeze type effect along Rainbow Machine and other experimental tones? I got you.
Idea behind this preset was to have a drone-type reverb. Something that could be used to make synth pad type layers to solo or comp over. I managed to pull that off and then wondered what else would I’d like to have in a preset like this? I made a Rainbow Machine type delay sound when I used Helix and made that same effect here. Now we’re able to make drones and tonal madness at the same time! One thing that I love is to be able to add an octave up, reverb and a chorus to my lead sounds. So I dialed those in as well. How about a Tape Stop effect to a Worn Tape delay? That’s in there as well. The Scenes function as amp channels: Clean, Overdriven, Distorted and Cleanish with a Harmonic Tremolo.
Note: This preset requires the v12.0 firmware.
