Fractal Audio Axe-Fx 3/FM9 – SYNTHS! preset
Requires the newest firmware!
Everybody who likes guitar synths must know about the Pat Metheny lead sounds, right? How about a soft poly sound and the EHX Key9 type Wurlitzer?
This preset was inspired firstly by a friend who asked for the Pat Metheny synth guitar lead. Secondly one of my Youtube subscriber asked about the Key9 pedal and the E-Piano tones on it. On the way I managed to dial in a whole lot of my favourite synth sounds! The soft Poly and Sine Wave tones, the aggressive Triangle Wave leads and multi filtered envelopes. One of the most simple yet fun scenes is the Dynamic Tremolo, where we got the rate attached to the Envelope Follower. Then again we got the Faux Rhodes scene. Whether you’re jumping into a Stevie Wonder tune or The Doors cover gig you know it’s going to impress folks. This preset gives you access to everything you need to stand out of the mix and make the audience wonder ”how are they doing that?!”.
The Scenes are:
Metheny
Make It Double
Dirty Triangle
Faux Rhodes
Dynamic Tremolo
Octave Sine
Soft Poly
Mod Lead
Per Preset overrides are: Oct Up! (the Synth block)
Surprise your bandmates and neighbours with the wildest guitar sounds yet – you know you want to!
